The Grounds Committee held its latest meeting on February 6, 2017, at CMC. All members were in attendance: Leslie Ellwood, Deb Beckworth and Chair, Rosemary Cruz. Also, in attendance was the transition team of Andy Sabonis, Treasurer from HOA Board, CMC Property Manager Ashley Gonzalez and BrightView of Russ Tolle. The meetings[sic] began at 6:10pm and concluded at 7:00pm.
The following items/issues were reported on and reviewed:
- Communication Process of a single point of contact (oral & email) between all team members (BV, CMC GC & Board).
- Mowing Schedule for FY 2017 was established for 22 mowings and 2 leaf-clean-ups.
- Matrix item list for Ground Maintenance responsibilities & schedule for spring 2017 to be posted to website. BV to generate to Jim Joyce.
- Irrigation will still be handled by Alan Zusman, Board.
- New Landscaping Enhancements will still be handled by Andy Sabonis, Board.
- Pruning will still be handled by Rich Williamson, Board.
- Walk through of the community will be on a consistent basis with potential action items to be discussed for repair & replacement immediately with the Treasurer & Co-Chairs
- New landscaping enhancement design areas for spring 2017. The new enhancement design areas are:

- Storm water detention dry ponds due to heavy rains, trash debris, and silt will be cleaned in July.

As a committee, we continue to recognize the major investment residents have made in their homes and feel that it is every homeowner’s responsibility to maintain their Kensington neighborhoods and keep them in pristine condition, an “A” rating, at all times.
