As was discussed at the last HOA meeting on Sept 22, American Disposal Systems has notified all Fairfax County customers, including us, that due to labor shortages, they are reducing trash pickup to once a week. Today, ADS informed us that starting NEXT WEEK, we will get trash & recycling pickup on FRIDAY only.
NO TRASH PICKUP on Monday, Oct 3th, nor Thursday, Oct 6th. Trash & recycling on Friday, October 7th, and every subsequent Friday going forward. Please mark your calendars and remind your neighbors.
None of us are happy with this situation. CMC & the Board are working to obtain bids to restore 2 pickups per week.
